In Wu Wei Tsao Tang Tea House, you can't hear the busy road, you just appreciate the silence and the old Chinese style of this house. The teahouse is called Wu Wei because it's inspired from Laozi, the spirit of Taoist sage who searches for the natural instead of the artificial.
The house is built around a fish pool, we can also see a pavillon and corridors. This is a peaceful place where it's so great to drink a tea and assist to a ceremony.
The old Japanese style is also present with tatami around many tables. Taiwan doesn't hesitate to mix Chinese with Japanese style. And just in case, you have to know that the teahouse was ranked a 2 star attraction in the Michelin guidebook in 2011.
You can order traditional snacks or dishes. I really like their black sticky rice and fish balls !
