Rainbow Village, Grandpa Happiness 台中彩虹眷村 in Taichung
In Taichung, a veterans villages called Rainbow Village escaped from the destruction thanks to a Grandpa's painting.
The last village resident is Mr.Huang, an old man who's painting the rocks, ground, walls with vivid colour.
Animals, dolls, birds are represented everywhere and none of the visitors can feel indifferent towards his painting.
This place is very unique as well as the the local government decided to suspend the demolition.
We visited this little place on weekend and we are fortunate to meet the Grandpa, he is kind and open to take pictures with visitors !
On weekend I have to tell you that there are lot of people and touristic bus !

The village is under renovation because of the cheap materials which serve to build the village.
